Del is a descendant of wealthy family, his father is running a greeting cards company, where Del for a while was hired in a non-job position that he constantly abused by spending more time on the squash court rather than in the office. He was engaged to Caroline, but at the last moment she called the wedding off.
They remained friends and when Del left his father's company and established his new company, Eagle Greeting Cards, Caroline agreed to join him as an artist. Del is running Eagle Greeting Cards together with his best friend Charlie.
